Family Guy – The Game Review03.06.08

Family Guy The Game BoxThe Family Guy series is definitely a controversial one. Fox actually wanted to cancel the show but after so many fans turned in to buy around 5 million copies of a DVD box set including the second season, the series was put back in the program. Now we have the chance to play Family Guy – The Game, available on PS2, XBOX and PSP. I tested the game on PS2, finished it and had a lot of time in the process. The big plus of the game is that the same writers and actors are involved as in the animated series. This basically means that the game is as funny as the show. Diablo 2 Review03.05.08

Diablo 2 BoxDiablo is one of the most appreciated RPG games in the world. It was developed by Blizzard, the same company that made World of Warcraft. The first game of the series was a huge success. Contrary to other games, Diablo 2, which followed the story of the first game, was also very popular. Blizzard didn’t offer the fans just another lame comeback, but a great game indeed. Although lots of RPGs appeared since, Diablo is still a game that millions all over the world play. Also, millions of websites are dedicated to this game all over the world. Besides the fact that Diablo 2 has a way better graphic engine comparing to the first one, the gameplay and storyline are just as good and caching. This game brings you in a mystical world of adventures. You can play the role of different characters, from which you can choose at the beginning: a barbarian, a necromancer, a sorceress, a paladin and an amazon. The Lord of Destruction expansion also brigs us two more characters: a druid and an assassin. Every character has (more…)

Rogue Galaxy Review02.11.08

Jaster Rogue - Rogue GalaxyRogue Galaxy is one game that seems to never end. When I played it I spent so much time on it that it became stressing that I was not able to finish it. It was not due to the fact that it was too difficult but because the game was quite long. In most cases you tend to get bored and there were moments with Rogue Galaxy that will see you getting a little bored due to some battles being repetitive but this usually happens when you basically need to gather more experience in order to defeat a boss monster or something like that (or if you simply want to defeat some more monsters). If we want to take a look at the game in an overall fashion we can say that it is hard to get bored with it as the story is captivating, there are a lot of playable characters, minigames and the recipe for a long and entertaining game is well cooked up.

Rogue Galaxy is built around the story of a young Jaster Rogue. He just wants to hunt beasts on his home planet and wants to have some excitement in (more…)
